According to data compiled by Chinatungsten Online from the General Administration of Customs, from January to July 2025, China's exports of tungsten products (excluding cemented carbide tools and tungsten halogen lamps) reached 8,950.68 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.85% compared to the same period in 2024. The export value amounted to RMB 2.786 billion, reflecting a year-on-year decrease of 8.45%.
From January to July 2025, China exported:
Tungstic acid: 143.06 tons, a year-on-year increase of 237.39%.
Tungsten hexafluoride: 241.18 tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.81%.
Sodium tungstate: 99.33 tons, a year-on-year increase of 676.00%.
Ammonium metatungstate: 2,108.88 tons, a year-on-year increase of 77.03%.
Ferro-tungsten: 1,507.79 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.91%.
Unwrought tungsten, including bars & rods obtained simply by sintering: 1,324.62 tons, a year-on-year increase of 240.37%.
Tungsten wire: 223.14 tons, a year-on-year increase of 8.42%.
Tungsten trioxides: 490.48 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 70.44%.
Other tungsten oxides & hydroxides, nes: 197.77 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 75.17%.
Ammonium paratungstate: 203.50 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 45.66%.
Carbides of tungsten: 955.85 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 60.54%.
Tungsten powders: 826.73 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 22.65%.
Tungsten waste and scrap: 239.80 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 35.69%.
Bars & rods, exclude those obtained simply by sintering; profiles, plates, etc.: 231.16 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 42.55%.
Additionally, from January to July 2025, China exported:
Knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, of metal carbides, coated or plated: 921.29 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.37%.
Other knives and cutting blades, for machines or for mechanical appliances, of metal carbides: 1,107.17 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.74%.
