タングステンを用いた製品
タングステンを用いた実際の製品を見ていきましょう。
重り
攜帯電話のバイブレーターは、端末自體が小型化がされるにつれ同時に小型化されてきています。振動を起こすための偏心させるための重りも小さくて重いものが求められます。
先端に付いている半円狀の重りを回してバイブレーターの振動を作ります。
釣り具の重りにも使われ始めています。鉛の環境に対する影響と、タングステンは鉛よりも比重が大きくより小さな大きさで同じ重さの重りを作ることができます。（釣果にも影響する要素ですね）

ルアーにも使われ始めています。
産業用工具
超硬工具の素材として利用されます。
タングステンの炭化させた物質の固さを利用しています。
鋼材等を切削加工するための先端部分に使われています。
照明
融點が高い特性をフィラメントに利用されます。
照明ではありませんが、ヒーターとして真空中で様々な物質を蒸著（蒸発させてコーティングする）させるためのフィラメントとしても利用されます。

ヒートシンク
熱膨張が小さくシリコンチップとの熱膨張差が小さいので、CPUの熱を逃がすためのに利用されることがあります。
放射線の遮蔽
鉛に代わる放射線を遮蔽する材料としてつかわれる場合もあります。
